I have a lifetime of experience covering many aspects of art dictated by how I have concluded these recent ceramic pieces. They are very light in weight and really must be held to fully appreciate them. My work is both physical and visual and as such displays its language to the observer. I have included a short descriptive piece where the inspiration came for these latest pieces of work.
- Gravity sings in spiraled grace,
- Drawing silver rivers through boundless space.
- Each comet, a needle in fabric unwound,
- Sewing stardust to the edge of sound.
- Veins of silver thread through the void,
- Like scars of creation the stars once employed.
- Nebulas curl in argent smoke,
- In silence, the universe softly spoke
I have given much of my past experiences within each piece of work and would like to keep this wonder open and not closed within the constraints of interpretation.
