I slab build stoneware pieces that can be functional – I use both buff and black clays. I take my inspiration from my fascination with textiles, their colours, their flow and patterns. Using the effect of glazes, I create different textures in order to achieve subtle and interesting surface patterns. The forms are either circular or rectangular and I enjoy making them so that they can work as a set or stand-alone.
