Dee Goodwill’s dedication and love for animals is clearly reflected in her detailed and lifelike sculptures.

After a long battle with a life threatening illness Dee was left disabled, this took her life in a very different direction and where she found sculpting on March 31st 2024 picking up clay for the first time and creating a sculpture of one of her miniature Dachshunds.  After this Dee was hooked, but she wanted to be more than just a sculptor, she wanted to do something good with her second chance at life.  This is where Dee brought to life her idea to help endangered animals, sculpting them to raise awareness to their plight, especially the lesser known endangered animals like the Burmese Slow Loris or the Ibex.  It’s evident that her life’s experiences and passion for wildlife conservation have shaped her artistry, allowing her to create pieces that not only capture the essence and movement of her subjects but also convey powerful messages about their plights.

Her work seems to be a beautiful blend of artistry and advocacy, raising awareness for endangered and vulnerable species. Each sculpture tells a story and invites viewers to connect with and appreciate the animals she so carefully crafts.

If you’re looking to explore her work further or find ways to support her efforts, there are often galleries, websites, and social media platforms where artists showcase their collections and engage with their audience.
