David is a studio potter based in the Staffordshire Moorlands on the edge of the Peak District National Park.

His work is primarily wheel thrown functional ware, currently firing in oxidation and raku atmosphere with a muted glaze palette of pinks, fuchsia and indigo.

Influenced by Nordic and Scandinavian ceramics, land art and both English and Nordic folklore.

David is part of the Foxlowe Clay Collective at the Foxlowe Art Centre, Leek in the Staffordshire Moorlands. A community based art project that helps the community to be creative with clay.
