Jamieson, Steph

Observing and collecting interesting and unusual things whether they belong to the natural world in the form of wood, stone or fossils or to the manmade world in the form of rusted iron or weathered tile give me the inspiration for my pottery. My home and workshop in the remote Allen Valley in Northumberland provide the ideal environment where I can use smoke and fire to decorate my unique sculptural ceramics of fossils, arrowheads and moonstones. The Broadwood Hall Wood Fire Group meets regularly to fire our wood and soda fire kilns. For further details see website.
