MacDonald, Anne

Most of my work is handbuilt stoneware. Animals of all sorts fascinate me. I try to capture their character and beauty as well as their interaction with each other. Camels are my favourites although at the moment I am particularly interested in Rothschild Giraffes which have become an endangered species. If any of my work makes people think of animals with more sympathy, understanding and respect it would make it all worthwhile. Occasionally I break out and enjoy making circles, bottles and colourful rubbish.
