Rumbold, Viv

I completed a BA Honours degree in ceramics in 2009. I made both slipware and agateware for my final project. Since then I have set up a studio at my cottage. My interest in painters such as Paul Klee, Howard Hodgkin and others has inspired me to use coloured slips as paint. A series of dishes, plates and plaques etc have followed. I mainly use white earthenware and fire to 1080 degrees. My first exhibition in early December 2010 resulted in sales and a good response to this new work. I offer tuition on a good ratio of one to one.
