I specialise in stoneware and raku, but my work encompasses pottery as a whole. I use many different making processes including throwing, coiling, slab building, press moulding and casting, formulating slips and glazes from the raw ingredients to give a unique quality and finish. Inspiration is derived mainly from the natural environment; the changing seasons, sunrise and sunset, clouds and lightning, petals, seeds and peeling bark, and the colours and textures of the landscape. A recent addition to my range is porcelain jewellery including pendants, brooches, bracelets and earrings. I exhibit in galleries throughout the UK and sell at large ceramics festivals and association events.
