For some time now I have been mistreating clay. I encourage different stoneware clay bodies to combine together either by lamination or by using a technique which is a cross between millefiore and agate ware. Sometimes I apply coloured slips before slashing and stretching the clay to form a slab with the texture or surface pattern I require to make my piece. I use little or no glaze.
