A Day of Talks and Demonstrations

23 July 2023

Hello fellow potters.

We still have a few spaces left on this day of talks and demonstrations. If you wish to secure a place please email in to senpacoordinator@outlook.com.

We are extremely pleased that two of the country’s finest ceramicists, Rachel Wood and Paul Smith, have agreed to give a full day of talks and demonstrations to our group. Both fantastically skilled ceramicists and hearing them talk about their work, and what inspires them should make for a fascinating day.

This will be held on Sunday the 23rd of July 2023 in the main workshop at The Derbyshire Eco Centre, Porter Lane, Matlock, DE4 4LS

We have space for an audience of about 30 people, and the cost is £40.00 each. We are putting this out first to SENPA members. After a couple of weeks, depending on the take-up, we will then circulate it around the rest of the NPA and other pottery groups..

SENPA will provide tea/coffee/soft drinks and biscuits but not lunch. Please bring your own lunch, or there is a lovely cafe on site if you prefer.

If you are interested in this event, please email us at senpacoordinator@outlook.com and we will add you onto our list. We will send out payment details and any additional information later.

Here is an very approximate running order for the day. The actual schedule is yet to be finalised.
