My earthenware collection of jugs, bowls and platters is colourful and fun, usually depicting the flora in my garden or sometimes catfish, an elusive inhabitant of my beloved Danube, the river I grew up by. All these vessels are thrown and high fired. By contrast, my bone china vessels are translucent and calming. They are slab built or cast and then carved and point to my fascination with the sea, shells and Greek columns. All my work is accented with gold and lustres.
