After finishing my Fine Art degree in 76 I worked with Mary Wondrausch for 2 years producing English Slipware. Following that I taught ceramics in a variety of adult education settings before becoming a social worker. 10 years ago I set up a studio in West Yorkshire and started potting again full time. My work most recently is exploring the idea of beauty found in imperfection. Thrown wares are finished with various different processes including raku, sodium silicate and low fired exploration of different surface treatments.
