Frances Lee

I am a ceramic artist. I use the ceramic as a canvas, usually in the form of press moulded or slip cast forms in white earthenware clay or slip. Most of my images have a personal connection. Sometimes hand drawn, painted or created on photoshop and made into transfers applied over a clear transparent glaze. I completed a degree in Applied Arts in 2011 at Batley School of Art. In 2012 I was a finalist in the Taiwan Biennale with a 16 plate version of my Family Tree. I have several series of work. My latest series are a Seaside and Autumn version of illustration on ceramics.
