Kay Holborn Bond is a ceramics artist working in County Durham, she creates sculptural pieces that are inspired by the regions industrial past and her families links to that past. Working with black stoneware and adding colours and textures that soften the shapes and add a different dimension.

Kay achieved a Masters in Ceramics- 2008, BA Ceramics- First Class, the year before and has been involved with creative industries ever since, lecturing in further education, delivering art sessions within with a charity, involved with a community gallery amongst other community projects although she is currently focusing solely on developing her ceramics practice.
