My ceramics are inspired by my emotional responses to landscapes and sense of place connected to special places. I aim to capture the essence of landscapes through form, colour and texture, working in stoneware to create decorative vessels, wall panels and sculptural forms. I use traditional hand building construction methods of slab building, coiling and pinching. I use textured slips, oxides and glazes for surface decoration. I studied MA Ceramics at UCLan and graduated in October 2016.
