I’m a graphic designer working in the field of ceramics. I work with slab built pottery. Depending on the pattern I am after, I would either inlay different coloured porcelain or white stoneware or different clays into slabs or use the Nerikomi techniquei. I derive inspiration from patterns and colours found in nature, especially trees and flowers. My work if often sculptural but I also create a small run of functional pottery that’s built using the nerikomi technique.
